In this exclusive course from Rebelway, we’ll take a deeper look into the rigging techniques inside Houdini through the KineFX toolset.
Along the way, we’ll explore concepts like IK, skeletons, muscle creation, hand articulation, run cycles, paths, and more. If you’ve ever wanted to get serious about rigging for professional animation or VFX projects, this is the course for you.
WEEK 1 – INTRODUCTION
This week will be an Introduction to KineFX and its tool set.
WEEK 2 – SKELETON SOP
This week we will create a character skeleton utilizing the skeleton SOP.
WEEK 3 – IK SETUPS
This week we will further explore IK setups andreverse foot nodes.
WEEK 4 – AUTOMATION
This week we will further explore automation with HDAs.
WEEK 5 – SKELETON CREATION
This week we will learn to think mechanically when approaching skeleton creation.
WEEK 6 – ANIMATION LIBRARY
This week we will learn to create a library of animations for characters.
WEEK 7 – COMPILING WORK
This week we will pull all of the work from the previous weeks to create your scene.
WEEK 8 – RENDERING
This week we will create a render featuring all of the previous week’s techniques learned.
