A UV editing support addon I’m creating to make UV unwrapping more enjoyable. It includes features particularly suited for character modeling.

Features
Unwrap Operations
Unwrap: Unwrap while maintaining the original position, size, and angle as much as possible
Straight: Unwrap so that the selected edge loop becomes a straight line
Normalize: Normalize the size and position of selected UVs
Gridify: Unwrap so that the selected face becomes a rectangle. Can be used for quadrilateral meshes
Rectify: Unwrap so that the boundary becomes a rectangle
Projection Unwrap: Unwrap by projecting from an angle parallel to the normal of the face selected in the 3D view
Align Operations
Align: Align selected elements to the top, bottom, left, right, or XY center position

Fixed an issue where operators using UV Unwrap would inherit the options from the standard Unwrap operation

Texel Density Tool: Added tools for texel density extraction, application, and UV coverage calculation. (Documentation)
Unwrap: Improved precision of in-place unwrap. Attributes to preserve can now be selected individually.
Normal Projection Unwrap: Now available from the UV Editor, not just the 3D View.
Align: Added Top-Left, Top-Right, Bottom-Left, and Bottom-Right options. You can now choose the alignment reference from Bounding Box, UV Area, or 2D Cursor. In vertex mode, using the Center icon now aligns vertices along a straight line. Improved processing.
Sort: Added guide features in 3D space (single-axis, radial).
Symmetrize: Added an “Auto” option that prioritizes the selected side. You can now also set a fallback direction in the add-on preferences when detection is not possible.
Snap: Added quadrant symmetry option. Improved processing.
Relax: Improved processing. Now runs even when only vertices are selected, regardless of boundary pinning.
Padding: Added an option to automatically calculate optimal padding based on texture size. Improved the accuracy of rendered lines.
Checker Map: Automatically switches the viewport to shader display mode after use
UI: Adjusted icons and layout, and fixed typos.
