A non-destructive way of making hard surface creases in Blender 3.3+.
This tool takes the edge crease data and converts it into physical creases in the geometry, which leads to procedural hard surface modeling effects.
(This is a geometrynodes modifier, not an addon.)
To activate the effect, set the ‘edge crease’ value to .1 or .9
The shortcut is Shift+E, or you can use the ‘mean crease’ value in the N-panel ‘items’ tab (when in edit mode.)
A subdivision modifier is recommended after the effect, but it isn’t required.
