so the steps are bit complex imo and I it was a bit of a pain in the arse to set it up but for any people who are interested in downloading this, heres how you do it (yes I know it comes with steps already) btw this is for linux installation ONLY (you can still use this for macos and windows but wouldnt recommend this crack for windows imo):
1. extract the speedtree_modeller zip file to to the directory you want to install and run the installation script
2. inside the crack folders extract Reprise_RLM_License_Administration_Bundle_v16.0BL3 and then inside the installer folder, there should be different folders for each OS. As I use linux (fedora to be specific), I extract the zip folder to /opt/rlm. Now preferably you should install it in the /opt folder but you can rename the folder you want to store it in anything you like, for me I named it rlm.
3. now the extracted files should be inside of rlm, not any sub-folder or sub-directory of rlm.
4. now go back to the Crack folder and extract RLM_ISV_Bundles.zip. Now move the extracted files back to /opt/rlm (or whatever folder you named it).
5. enter /opt/rlm and run ‘sudo ./rlm’. This should run the server
6. Open your preferred browser and enter ‘https://localhost:5054’. This will run the web license server. Default password and user is admin, after entering tho you will have to create a new password
7. Go the installation directory of speedtree and run ‘startSpeedTreeModeler.sh’
8. This should run speedtree and it should be licensed already
Now important note: to run speedtree you will have to redo step 5 and THEN run speedtree, not after alr. You can also make it auto run it for you on start up but idk how
