Generate bloom effect is one of the two core features of Oniric. It uses the inverse square law same as real light falloff does to create very smooth light transitions. Combined with our algorithms it works amazing with the “colorize” feature. When you hit the “apply” button, Oniric renders the bloom in 16bit so you don’t have to worry about banding.

Light streaks
Generating light streaks is another core feature of Oniric. With this type of glow you can create very interesting and creative light effects that you didn’t think before on your image. You can create from lens flares and glares as well. We have made tutorials to show you how to create them, the rest is all about that you experiment with settings and find more ways of creation.

Non destructive
We’ve created a plugin that delivers non-destructive results, this means that the plugin doesn’t destroy your pixels and it gives you the capability to edit your Oniric elements whenever you want and change any setting again and again.
When pressing “edit mode”, Oniric searches for all of your Oniric elements already created and lets you choose which element you want to edit.

Saving an Oniric Glow Element speed has been improved drastically by reducing render times with new algorithms.
Tooltips now appear when hovering over a setting, providing information about its function.
Powerful Tone mapping feature at the bottom section. Utilizing an Exponential Photographic Response algorithm, this tone mapping function adjusts exposure and gamma to map HDR colors into a perceptually uniform, display-referred range. By mimicking real-world filmic response, it effectively compresses highlights and reduces color banding, preserving detail in both bright and dark regions.
32Bit processing is now accesible inside Oniric with a helper switch at the bottom section. Before it was necessary that the input file was 32Bit. Enable 32Bits for glow processing bringing more control over the dynamic range with richer glow colors and smoother falloff. This is ideal when working with Graphic, Web design or when wanting higher quality glows.
Chromatic aberration has real-time update.

XRay got a nice upgrade for real-time experience. When activated, any changes on the Threshold or DR Compression sliders are previewed in real-time by displaying an updated version of the XRay temperature map with the new values every few frames.
Oniric Rays. A customizable new light effect that emits volumetric light beams from a center point. Perfect for magical atmospheres, sci-fi vibes, or stylized god rays.
A configuration panel has been added that makes Oniric more customizable, including a real-time preview options for XRay and Chromatic Aberration.
Realtime updates can be turned on and off for a better experience.
Enhanced Chromatic aberration center type with a more realistic appeal.
Outlines button option has been added to “MASK BUILDER” which creates an outline mask based on the selected layer pixels.
Aspect Ratio setting has been added for more glow control and creative playground. Using values different than 1.0 increases render times.
UI Language support.
Oniric’s glow engine has been upgraded with a new setting which flattens the input image highlights giving more space for the threshold to play with.
More Pro Presets carefully crafted have been added to the factory presets.
Color Section is now always visible on any panel.
Glare has been moved to its own panel now which you can access by clicking the Glare panel button at the top.
Improved algorithm for the luminosity input data.
Improved algorithm for removing banding.
Enhanced saturation slider for more chroma variation and vibrant colors.
On the main window, the “Channels” section has been named “MASK BUILDER”.
Dynamic Range Slider have been named “DR Compression ( Dynamic Range Compression )” as technically it compresses the Dynamic Range values.
XRay layer opacity has been reduced some more to be able to see better through it.
Improved the XRay mapped glow influence values for a correct screen visualization.
Exposure setting limits have been raised up to +10 for the maximum and -10 for the minimum. ( Both used to be limited to +5 and -5).
Glare Sharpness setting has been added to the Glare section which makes the glare streaks more defined.
Chromatic aberration comes with a new setting that is activated when the OFFSET option is chosen, it handles the direction of the color channel separation.
Light Dispersion is now named “Chromatic Aberration.
Intensity feature setting has been added to Chromatic Aberration to get more vibrant colors when using high Chromatic Aberration Blur values.
Right click on any slider resets it to its default value.
UI has been compacted and improved the UX.
Mask UI has been compacted.
Render times in real-time are more beneficial for M# Apple chips due to Adobe’s Architecture and the great synergy with Mac computers.
Bug fixed when activating the license. Oniric was asking to insert the license again and again endlessly.
Small bug fixes.
