Why Cascadeur?

EASY TO RIG
Drag-and-drop joints of your character in our Quick Rigging Tool to generate the rig automatically. Rig standard skeletons from Daz3d, Character Creator, Mixamo, Unreal Engine, Metahuman or Player.me with one click. You can customise the auto-generated rig or even create your own for non-humanoid characters.

Ragdoll
Now, Ragdoll takes into account character interaction (interaction points).

Ragdoll can now interact with props. FK in props is taken into the account.

Convex and kinematic mesh colliders are now supported.

Collisions
Scale is correctly taken into consideration in colliders.

For scenes created in the previous versions of Cascadeur, run File → Fix Scene for the scale to work correctly.

The Enforce option in Fulcrum Points supports custom colliders (and visualization).

Improved Inbetweening

Added Style option for controlling the kind of motion (like walking or running) generated by the tool.
This option is available on the Scene Settings panel, under the Inbetweening tab:

Updates
Inbetweening now predicts tangents at the start and end of animation or if the neighboring interval contains step interpolation. This also reduces cases when inbetweening tool generates unneeded jumps.

Timeline track vertical alignment is now enabled by default in new scenes and in sample scenes.

Fixes
Auto Interpolation now works with the new default QRT distribution of rig objects across tracks (previously it failed with an error).

Clamp interpolation now works correctly near keys with modified tangents (if a tangent is set after a key, clamp now behaves correctly before that key and vice versa).

Fixed an issue where the changed tangent marker (dot) on the timeline was not cleared when resetting tangents via the viewport right-click context menu.

Fixed freezes in some drop-down menus when there are multiple opened scenes.
