INSTRUCTIONS:

Q: How to make VRay and Phoenix FD works?
A: you need to copy zray.mll to Maya20xx/vray/plug-ins and tick load/autoload vrayformaya.mll, phoenixfd.mll, and zray.mll in maya plugins manager and restart Maya.

Q: But it still not working?
A: close Maya try to delete maya folder in my document, it will reset maya preferences. restart Maya and reload vray, phoenix fd and zray in maya plugins manager again.

Q: How to make distributed rendering works
A: you need vray_zzz.dll in Maya 20xx/vray/vrayplugins

Q: But where is vray_zzz.dll? i don’t see it.
A: vray_zzz.dll will created automatically if you put zray.mlll in Maya20xx/vray/plug-ins folder and run Maya as Admin.

Q: But still i don’t see vray_zzz.dll in Maya20xx/vray/vrayplugins folder
A: 2 reason, you didn’t put zray.mll to Maya20xx/vray/plug-ins or you rename it.

Q: If i don’t put zray.mll to Maya20xx/vray/plug-ins or i rename it, how to solve it?
A: you need to copy zray.mll to Maya20xx/vray/vrayplugins and rename it as vray_zzz.dll manually.

Q: so we need zray.mll and vray_zzz.dll to make everything works, and vray_zzz.dll will created automatically if i did all step correctly?
A: yes. and if vray_zzz.dll doesn’t created automatically in Maya20xx/vray/vrayplugins, you need to copy zray.mll to there and rename it as vray_zzz.dll

A: yes. zray.mll located in Maya20xx/vray/plug-ins and vray_zzz.dll located in Maya20xx/vray/vrayplugins
